My Plasitc Lovehope all of you fine deviantartist have been doing well! my younger sister came to town to visit me for a few days at the end of june. so of course we had to hit the beaches. one day we went to santa monica and took some surfing lessons. on our last day we went to venice beach. venice is such a great place to shoot. there's such a mish mash of people and art and craziness and colors. the holga is such a great beach camera. it's plastic, it's lightweight, it's cheap ($20-$30), it's medium format! and it does its best in the bright day light. personally i love the light leaks and imperfections. sometimes when i get my developed film back from the lab, the super sweet woman at the counter will tell me that some of the film was "ruined" from the sunlight. that always makes me excited to see what kind of colorful streaks are running though my photos. i love the organicness (is this a word?) of it all.

Any chance of seeing some photos of your Ireland, England trip?
I don't like landscape photography photography myself, in fact I hate it with a passion. But some day I hope to earn a living doing travel photography.
