i used the accented edges filter on this (as well as on some other kitchen shots). it gives it more of a 50s-norman-rockwell painting feel. smooths things out and defines the edges a bit. also, i photoshopped out the knobs on the drawer that were protruding from her face.

Always open to working w/ adventurous subjects (particularly if you're in Northern NY) who are brave enough to be in front of my camera. Interested? :devart: note me at your leisure & maybe we can figure something out.

try it with her mouth shut and looking downward, and in sepia duotone.

she'll look like a vintage housewife trapped in the eternal kitchen, mouth sealed permanently shut and unable to move.

a twilightzonish nightmare!

:: i can hear rod serling narriting this now::

Love the vintage look and feel of your work

thanks! i love vintage and retro. give me something that could potentially be covered in mothballs or smell like attic and i'm in heaven :)

Love the idea, tho i think a slightly wider lens would be more affective. Everything in the frame is getting cut off and, to me, feels like it's demanding to be seen. The lighting and color is beautiful tho, and i can hardly tell you've run a filter.
